Rosabella R is a wonderful quality small mare with a flair for collection. Although only young, Rosabella R is schooling some piaffe steps and is showing a natural inclination towards passage. Rosabella R has a naturally round way of going and has an excellent work ethic. Rosabella R is not only by the two-time Australian Grand Prix Dressage Champion, Regardez Moi, but she also has a spectacular
collection of genetics of her dam line. Rosabella R’s dam, Janet R, is by the impressive Grand Prix stallion Jive Magic and out of the Salute/Ludendorf mare Slinky. Slinky is in turn by Salute, sire of Victory Salute who in 2010 came 9th at
the World Equestrian Games in the USA with Brett Parbery. Slinky’s dam, Lynx, is a full sister to the Grand Prix horse Londoner, who won the Trans Tasman Grand Prix with Australian Olympian Mary Hanna. Lynx also produced eventers such as Don Panache, highly successful in Australia with Stuart Tinney and then sold to the UK to be ridden by British royalty’s Zara Phillips. Rosabella R is just in her very early stages of schooling but is ready to move forward into a competition career. Rosabella R will in fact have already had her very first dressage competition
outing just prior to the auction. This athletic mare will suit an ambitious rider looking for a smaller horse with the talent and breeding to go all the way to the top.
